Our Christian Ethos

We recognise our historic Christian foundation and promote our religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England. 

Within the context of Christian belief and practice, we provide quality education encompassing the whole of the school curriculum and school life. We encourage an understanding of the meaning and importance of faith. Our vision is woven through the day to day life of the school and our values underpin everything we do. The impact of this supports our children’s attitudes and responses towards others and the world around them. 

Our school has a lovely, family feel to it, where children are nurtured to achieve their full potential – both socially and academically. Through our Church school vision and values, we create a supportive environment which builds on children’s self-esteem and confidence levels in order to promote a positive ‘can-do’ approach to life and learning. So all our children can flourish, we pride ourselves on providing a caring, supporting environment where children can grow as safe, happy, well-rounded individuals with the necessary skills to move onto their next phase of education.
