Year 6
A very warm welcome to the Year 6 class page. This year, Mr Simpson and Miss Burgess are the members of staff working with the children.
In Year 6, our classroom is one in which children feel welcome, respected and comfortable. It is a place where we learn through our mistakes, and we respect each other and each other’s ideas and viewpoints.
Although this is your child’s final year in primary school, we aim to make this year a memorable one. Through hard work, focus, determination and problem solving opportunities, your child will be able to strengthen their independence, resilience and self confidence – skills which form the perfect foundations for their move to secondary school next year.
